Dr. Jonathan Kent PsyD

Dr. Jonathan Kent is a licensed psychologist with expertise spanning evidence-based psychotherapy, neuropsychological assessment, and organizational psychology.
Clinically, Dr. Kent specializes in scientifically validated treatments including Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He works with adults, children, couples, and families, helping them heal from complex trauma and address challenges such as anxiety, depression, anger management, life transitions, and work-related stress. Treatment is available both in person and via secure video conferencing.
As a trained neuropsychologist, Dr. Kent has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and neurodevelopmental disorders, with a focus on how brain-based conditions affect everyday functioning, learning, and adjustment.
In the field of organizational psychology, Dr. Kent applies psychological science to the workplace, with expertise in employee selection, performance, occupational stress, and the prevention and treatment of burnout. His work bridges individual well-being and organizational effectiveness, offering insight at the intersection of psychology, health, and work.
In addition to his clinical and consulting practice, Dr. Kent is active in research. He holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine and serves as a visiting scientist in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Northwell Health.
